Best Watering Cans for Microgreens
Everyone Needs a little "Cute" Now & Then
You know....sometimes you just need something cute! You don't have a huge microgreen garden. You're just starting out and you can water your microgreens quickly and easily. That's how I started. I started growing microgreens for my health, had very limited space at the time and didn't know what the heck I was even doing. So, sure! I didn't need drip irrigations, hydropondics or electric spray bottles to make growing mirogreens easier. What did I use? Cute watering cans that brightened my day. Check out all these cute options!
One of my all-time favorites is this little cutie! I love birds, so this was a logical choice for me. This little bird watering can holds a 1/2 gallon of water. So he's cute, but functional. An added bonus with this little bird is that all my grandchilder love to play with it to!

Don't like birds as much as I do? This watering can with pretty flowers painted on it is a nice addition! If they're cute, you can never have too many watering cans - no such thing!
This one is metal, so it's durable and has a long spout so you can water in the center of your microgreens. It's not too small but not too large either so when you're not using it, you can sit it on your patio for cute decor.

Because it's rust-proof and leak-proof and the design is printed directly on to the watering can, this cute can will last a long time.
Looking for something a little less "cutesy" and a little more sleek and modern for your apartment? You'll love this stainless steel watering can then. As sleek and modern as you can get, this 1/2 gallon watering can will be a workhorse for you while not being "too sweet."
Nothing says "urban gardener" like this sleek, modern beauty! While I tend to lean toward the more "cutesy" watering cans, I can see how this black, stainless, watering can would have looked more at home in my NYC apartment. Now, that I'm living in the south, and have more room and outdoor flowers in addition to my microgreens, I lean toward the cute ones like the bird.

But...this watering can is durable, rust-proof because of the stainless interior, and the black can fit into any city apartment without looking out of place.

I personally love the color of this aqua watering can to water my microgreens with, but it also comes in a lot of other colors. Because it's made from plastic, it's both lightweight and durable. It holds almost 2L of water and has a 14-inch long spout so you can reach into the center of your trays to water. As an added bonus, you can use just the nozzel for a steady stream to reach into trays or attach the "shower" nozzel if you want to top water.
